Meet some of our members
" We enjoy this spiritual community through inspiring Sunday worship services and the wonderful loving and caring people who have become our extended family."

People are our greatest strength, and almost all have a ministry, small or substantial. Some contribute by making joyous music, teaching young children, or contributing to intellectually stimulating adult education. Others find it meaningful to serve in worship, prepare food, work together, listen, and share their joys and sorrows. The foundation of our work as church communities is guided by the Worshipful Work Model where prayer, study, and community accountability shape all decision making and activities.

" We moved to Lakewood in 1973 and started attending St. Joseph’s since our only friends at the time were members.  Since then, St. Joseph has been our second family where we raised all three of our daughters.  Friends, Fellowship and Community are wonderfully abundant at St. Joseph and are the common threads that keep us coming back.  All of this has been a wonderful and ongoing gift to our family.  We are truly blessed.  Please join us."

"We have been going to St. Joseph's for 4 years.  We first started attending when we missed the mass at another local church.  We decided to try St. Joseph's.   After our first service everyone was so nice, so decided we'd try again the following week and we have been attending ever since.  We have been very active in the children's ministry offered here along with helping to raise the money for the new playground.  Angel has enjoyed being a member of the Adult Choir, Vacation Bible School and teaching Sunday School and Youth Group Ministry.  Robert works with the Greeters, Counters, Ushers, and is a member of the Men's Group.

" Ron &  I entered the doors of St. Joseph's 2 years ago. We knew during the mass this place was special. After mass many people eagerly greeted us. We felt truly welcomed. What a great coffee hour! We have discovered it is the spiritual enrichment, people and activities that make a place a church. St. Joseph's is such a place. Come see for yourself ."
