Youth Faith Formation
Youth Faith Formation happens on Thursday evenings at Youth Group.  Please see the Youth page for the latest happenings with our teens.

Each Sunday morning from September through May between the church services we focus on providing a safe friendly, learning environment for the children.  It’s a place especially for kids – and about kids. In our classes, which run from 4 years old up to Grade 4, we do many different things. Our main focus is on the Godly Play curriculum but there also surprises along the way.
We have been blessed with a wonderful group of people who are dedicated to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Every Sunday our volunteers prepare the stories and the crafts for the young people of our parish.  Children's Faith Formation meets from 9:15 to 10:15.
There also a variety of programs throughout the year as well – Liturgy for Little Ones, All Saints Saturday, Palm Friday Night, Parent-Child Retreats, to name a few.

Classes are offered each Sunday from September through May.  We cover a wide range of topics.  The Sunday bulletin has specific information.  Occasionally there will be special presentations, our last from two parishioners who were doing mission work in Haiti during the earthquake.  Drop-ins are very welcome. We meet from 9:15-10:15 on Sunday mornings in the Parish Hall. There is also a series of classes during Advent and Lent on Wednesday evenings from 6:15-8:30. Please call the office for the exact schedule.

Vacation Bible School was held from Aug 3-6, 2009 with Harry Potter and the Tri-wizard Competition as the theme.   We will explore bible stories and their relation to the models in the Harry Potter books. Many enthusiastic volunteers contribute to the success of this most important endeavor serving as teachers, musicians, cooks, waiters, etc.  Our Vacation Bible School has become a real part of this community, reaching out to children who are not regular churchgoers.  Last year the program ran Monday – Thursday from 7:30am – 5:30pm to help parents in need of child care.  There were two outings – one to the zoo to explore the world of creation and the second to Pirate’s Cove to compete in water activities and learn to work co-operatively.  We look forward to a return to the same the first week in August 2010.
